Jolynn Dupree
President, Owner
Jolynn is the daughter of Richard and Cathy Hayes, the founders and creators of The Hangar Models Company. Richard Hayes, a retired Fighter pilot and Delta Captain, had the idea of creating a company that sold completely customizable model airplanes. After several months of investigating, Rich found a master model craftsman who could build amazing model airplanes to the smallest of detail.
The Hangar Models Company opened their doors in May of 1998. During this time Jolynn was a student and preparing herself for the University of Georgia. In August of 2006 Jolynn graduated with honors with a Bachelor's degree in Advertising. In September she married Josh Dupree and started working as a medical sales representative. Rich, now a developer and builder, and his wife Cathy, a real estate agent, could no longer keep up with the business and contemplated selling it. Jolynn loved the idea of buying the family business and making it grow.
Jolynn purchased the company in May of 2007. She now owns and operates The Hangar Models Company, the premier mahogany model airplane company selling the highest museum quality products at the most competitive prices on the market. |
