The Hangar Models Company was founded on the idea to build competitively priced, museum quality desktop mahogany models. .

All of our Custom models are expertly hand carved from the finest grade mahogany wood and skillfully hand-painted by master craftsmen to produce an exact replica of the original airplane, car, boat or ship.

Process to order Custom Made Model:

1.  Email hangar15@bellsouth.net or call 800-647-9080 to get price and quotes.  Models can be built to any specification or size.

2.  Email pictures of actual vehicle to reproduce or any pertinent information or drawings that you may have that would help describe the project including "N" number.  If taking pictures of your aircraft;  more is better! 

At least 8 pictures of each angle of the aircraft plus a close up of the paint color.  If questions on paint, consider using the color chart below.  No decals are used on our Custom Models.

3.  We have over 5,000 profiles of aircraft, but yours may have modifications.  We need to know.

 4. We can accommodate customization logos or squadron patches, business cards or Company logo on the stand that will be engraved and hand painted.  Email the logo.  If you request company logo of aircraft, we will most possibly have that on file.

5. The stand design is 5.5" x 7.5', and made from solid mahogany.  The final planned stand for our artist department looks like this:

6.  Basically, the better the pictures, the better the final product will be in regards to detail.  If you desire something on the aircraft that is a must but may not show up on the pictures, we need to know!  Pilots name, different tail numbers, different paint colors or such can all be adjusted.

7.  Model takes approximately 90 days to complete and another 10 days for shipment.
